10:45 am - 12:00 pm     Blogging Your Genealogy

  Presented by Yvonne Morrissey

Yvonne says that blogging is a fun and great way to share publicly what you want to share with others. Although it may seem time consuming, it can become addictive. It requires basic computer skills, which all of us have or can learn.  Visit both Yvonne's current qulitling and genealogy blogs at - http://indianaquilter40.blogspot.com or http://lancastercountyfamilyties.blogspot.com/2012/01/welcome-folks.html

Yvonne became interested in her own family history while still in grade school. She is part of a huge extended family with deep roots in Lancaster County, PA. Yvonne says that she was a bookish child who asked "why" a lot. It was her grandmother who guided her into the world of genealogy. Yvonne currently teaches at Harrison College as the HIT (paperwork side of medical) Instructor.
