This presentation discusses research in the “Colonial Era” which is generally considered to have begun in 1607 with the founding of Jamestown through July 4, 1776 with the Declaration of Independence.  A review of the thirteen colonies provides information on people of various nationalities, languages, religions, and political beliefs struggling to create a unique life experience while living under English Law.
