LEGACY COMPUTERIZED GENEALOGY COURSE
Wabash Valley Genealogy Society is offering a free course for beginning users of the Legacy Family Tree Computer application. The course will meet 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. in the Vigo County Main Library computer classroom every Tuesday of April 2012 for those pre-registered at loran.braught@frontier.com. Registration is limited to the first 12 applicants submitting (required) name, home phone, Email address, and home address. Participants will be expected to complete all four meetings with 2-4 hours of homework before each meeting, some requiring internet connections.
Upon registration, applicants will receive added details and the first homework assignment to be completed before April 3. Legacy is one of only two genealogy programs endorsed by the Latter Day Saints and considered by some as the most outstanding genealogy computer application available at any cost, but the standard version used throughout the course is free with no updating costs or added expenses. The instructor is Loran Braught, founder of the Wabash Valley Genealogy Society and Life member of the Indiana Genealogical Society.
Topics to be covered:
