Using Maps in your Genealogy Research - Learn about maps that may help enrich your family history research. We will be talking about where to find and how to use plat maps, Sanborn maps, and USGS topographic maps.

Monique Howell has been a reference librarian at the Indiana State Library for the past six years. She has been working closely with the historic print map collection at the State Library for the past few years. Prior to that, she worked in academic and public libraries. She is a 2001 graduate from Indiana State University. She lives in Indianapolis and has two children.
